What does Fēng Shén zhī Dà o mean?
It is Chinese for the ‘Way of the Wind Spirit’ or the ‘Path of the Wind Spirit’, or ‘Mastery of Wind’.
Chinese Medicine considers wind as one of the most common pathologies of illness and pain in the body and its symptoms correspond most closely to the functions of the nervous system.
BHSc (Acupuncture)
Traditional Chinese Doctor and Acupuncturist
I have been studying Chinese Medicine for nearly 15 years, and my study never stops.
Every new patient is always showing me something new about health and longevity.
I am here as a practitioner to read the visible signs of those who come to me according to the principles of Chinese Medicine.
This assists in tackling symptoms of chronic pain, degenerative disorders and as an adjunct to conventional treatment for various illnesses.
I approach treatments traditionally with a focus on holistic adjustments to lifestyle, dietary and social/emotional/spiritual factors which contribute to wellness & disease, as well as physical and herbal intervention.
Education around the flow of the seasons and living in tune with nature as far as is reasonably practicable in this fast paced modern world is a key component of my treatment approach.
I incorporate my background in Nei Gong into my practice – a set of breathing, meditation and somatic techniques typical to soft style or internal Chinese Martial Arts.
All of this occurs in a private, confidential space where my focus is entirely on you. You can book an appointment here or view my services and prices, or use the button below.
I hope to see you soon.
