Acclimating in Autumn with Chinese Medicine

The Chinese say that it is unwise to put on the winter clothes too early in Autumn, as this prevents the body from naturally acclimating to the cooler weather.

In modern times, this also translates to not using the heater too early, but those prone to stiff neck or respiratory infections at the change of seasons will benefit from a light scarf to cover the neck and base of the skull.
